Mini Skirts on a Plane

Upon watching the news I was rather amused by the story regarding a 23-year old woman who was asked to leave a flight because her outfit was inappropriate.

Aside from the unbelievably poor judgement used by this flight attendent and the brand image plunge that this episode has caused for Southwest there is still a question that has not been asked, "Why were you wearing a mini skirt on a plane?"

As an individual who enjoys flying, I know that if there is no business involved I am in my sweats and a t-shirt while traveling. Even when business related I always carry a long sleeve shirt and sometimes a blanket, because airplanes are usually cold! Not to mention that everyone is so afraid of germs yet it was not asked why she would want to have that much skin in direct contact with a seat?

I can say one thing for certain, you won't find my bare ass touching any part of a seat in a plane.
